Worked primarily as a lighting artist for the recently released "The Grand Tour Game". I had a lot of fun implementing the overall light setup for multiple tracks, as well as sky creation from HDRIs, and creating LUTs. When there wasn't lighting to be getting on with I also helped out with optimization and asset creation.

In VR a huge focus was on creating immersive environments with particular emphasis on creating parallax with layout so to exaggerate the depth. I worked closely with the design team for prototyping and found this investigative work one of my favorite parts of the role. It was really exciting to work on multiple areas at the same time and quickly became comfortable at switching between roles/ different project. I helped out with rigging and blueprint to cut down on iteration time. I was also given the opportunity to do some first pass lighting setups. This was working mostly with Unreal engine, Maya and Substance Painter. I also used Quixel and Unity for some projects.
